The State Government, represented by the Paraíba Tourism Company (PBTur) and the State Secretariat of Tourism and Economic Development (Setde), is participating in the Tourism Forum 60+ in São Paulo on Monday (13). The event promises to bring together more than 300 travel agents from all regions of Brazil, along with over 30 exhibitors and 10 renowned personalities, including panelists and speakers.

During the forum, PBTur and Setde will conduct a special training session about Paraíba and its cultural attractions, specifically targeting the 60+ audience.

Organized with the aim of exploring the potential of tourism focused on the 60+ demographic, the forum emerges as a vital space to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in this growing segment of the tourism industry.

According to Ferdinando Lucena, president of PBTur, Paraíba, with its rich cultural diversity, natural beauty, and historical heritage, has much to offer mature travelers. "The training provided by the state government will provide a detailed overview of the available tourism opportunities, from paradisiacal beaches to enriching cultural experiences," he emphasizes.

Rosália Lucas, Secretary of Tourism and Economic Development, highlights that this is an opportunity to present products and services tailored to this specific audience. "Being able to showcase Paraíba's tourist attractions to these professionals is a unique opportunity to expand tourism targeting this audience for our state," comments the Secretary.
